How much does it cost to hire you?
Milava Travel Fee Structure
At Milava Travel, our planning fees reflect the time, expertise, and care we put into creating seamless, personalized travel experiences. All planning fees are non-refundable and due prior to research and itinerary design.
Initial Discovery Call : Always complimentary! As a family owned business, all of our clients are treated like family and the first step to that is connecting with you personally. We want to hear all about your ideas for your trip, where you want to go, where you don't want to go, what you love, don't love and want you want to ensure that you have included!
Standard Research & Design Fee: $100 per trip
Ideal for most U.S. domestic trips, pre-packaged vacations, or straightforward itineraries.
Covers research, itinerary design, and support before, during, and after travel.
À La Carte & Custom International Travel: $500 research & design fee (covers the lead traveler) $100 per additional traveler
Applies to highly customized itineraries, complex trips, international travel, or à la carte services.
Includes destination research, supplier negotiations, special access opportunities, and concierge level, personalized trip support from start to finish.

At Milava Travel, we pour our time, care, and expertise into researching and thoughtfully crafting each personalized itinerary and quote. Our planning fee helps cover the countless hours we spend making sure your trip is seamless, memorable, and truly one of a kind, even before you book!
Like to book your own travel but don't have the time and patience to endlessly scroll and research every resort or place to eat in a 25 mile radius in a destination you've never been to? Our research and design fee covers our time to put together an amazing trip so if you choose to take your personalized design and book it yourself, we are still able to keep our doors open and will be eagerly awaiting the opportunity to design your next trip, so no biggie!
What can I expect when working with you?
First, we start with a complimentary 20-minute discovery call. This is our chance to chat about your trip ideas, get to know you, and see how we can make your travel dreams a reality.
Next, if you decide to join the Milava Travel family and allow us to get started designing for you, we’ll send an invitation to your trip design along with an invoice for the applicable research and design fee. Once the design fee is received, we’ll begin designing your trip! A personalized itinerary and quote (up to three options) will be delivered to you within 72 hours for standard trips or one week for à la carte, international, luxury and custom designs. Your itinerary options will be available on our professional, easy-to-navigate app - and via email if apps aren’t your thing!
Next, we’ll review your options together on a follow-up call, answer any questions, and make tweaks as needed—helping you finalize your trip exactly as you envisioned it and place your initial deposit.
Then, your trip is officially booked and the fun begins! From excursions and restaurant reservations to handling flight delays, cancellations and rebooks, or lost luggage, we’ve got your back every step of the way. We’ll guide you through packing, insurance, and all the little details so you can relax and focus on the adventure ahead.
and if you're wondering....how far in advance should I contact you?
This will depend on what type of vacation you are looking to book and the size of your party! Typically, the 6-9 month range is a perfect time to start planning. We will discuss this further in your initial call to ensure we have ample time to make your vacation is everything you could ever dream of! That being said, there are plenty of last minute deals to be had and we love spontaneous trips so definitely let us know what you're thinking for quick trips too!
PLEASE NOTE: Prices and availability can change moment to moment in the travel industry, so please be prepared to make your initial booking deposit within one week of our follow up call. In the case of a delay in booking, a re-quote may be necessary and prices are subject to change. Your initial research and design fee covers one re-quote.
How do I get started with you?
1. Fill out the Vacation Wishlist Form for your specific itinerary by clicking the "Get Started" button at the top of this page.
2. Once your Wishlist Form is complete, proceed to Step #2 to schedule your initial discovery call with us at a time that is convenient for you to discuss key details, specific requests, and answer any questions you have! During this call, we will work together to determine when we should get started designing and booking your trip!
Remember; most vacation packages can be booked with a just a deposit,
no need to stress about needing to pay in full right away!
